Boo·mer·ang
When we ask things to change or act in opposition of their nature, can we truly be surprised when they don't do as we want? Or, does a part of us know that what we are asking for is not possible given what we know about how the thing behaves? Are we setting ourselves up to be let down just so we can continue to demand? Are we creatures of our own mental grooves, becoming more and more used to having to act against the things which we know we cannot change; and thus ignoring our own faults as we demand others to change for us?
Or is this simply a funny concept? You be the final judge. Send this card to your friends and open a whole can of philosophical worms.
