They’re all back at the office trying to figure out what to do about me.
It’s not that I won’t answer their calls or emails, I can’t. It’s only 23 kilometers to the nearest signal but I might as well be on the moon. Honestly, they can all eat it. I don’t understand what the big deal is. The company sent out an email : “Remote cabin, available for employees, relax, get off grid, tune in and tune out.” I called the contact and made the arrangements. Here I am, cozy, warm, happy, and absolutely un-fucking-reachable.
Sorry, I shouldn’t unload on you like this. It’s been weeks since I’ve even had a moment to breathe and here by the fire, my pen is moved and I find that I’m writing too much and too little to you all at once.
